Full guide →When to go. Head straight out at curtain call. Two-show days are the worst bet at both performances — the cast rests through the matinee and is spent by the evening. A Sunday matinee is the best single bet, because it is a one-show day. In bad weather the barricades sometimes never go up at all.
Who comes out. Anywhere from nobody to most of the cast. Nobody can tell you in advance which three — not us, not the theatre. Treat any list that claims otherwise with suspicion.
What to bring. Tonight’s Playbill and a fine-tip Sharpie, held open to the page you want signed. Ask before you photograph anyone, and keep the pavement clear — it is a working door, not a red carpet.

The Lowdown
Two moms, one band, and a lot of feelings. Unconditional, A Musical Memoir makes its Off-Broadway debut at The Club at La MaMa in the East Village, October 15 to 25, 2026.
Margot Rose wrote it, co-composed it and stars in it. She plays Marm, one of two mothers, who sits surrounded by onstage musicians and pulls apart the memories that make up a life, in story and song. It runs from a miraculous ultrasound to an impossible stretch in a critical care unit, following one messy, loving, fantastic queer family through the worst thing that can happen and out the other side, still learning how to live.
Anne Kenny directs, with Melina Young joining Rose on stage. It runs about 90 minutes.
The Club is a 70-seat room, so everyone gets a close seat, and you will want one. Pack tissues. Then call your family.
