Full guide →When to go. Head straight out at curtain call. Two-show days are the worst bet at both performances — the cast rests through the matinee and is spent by the evening. A Sunday matinee is the best single bet, because it is a one-show day. In bad weather the barricades sometimes never go up at all.
Who comes out. Anywhere from nobody to most of the cast. Nobody can tell you in advance which three — not us, not the theatre. Treat any list that claims otherwise with suspicion.
What to bring. Tonight’s Playbill and a fine-tip Sharpie, held open to the page you want signed. Ask before you photograph anyone, and keep the pavement clear — it is a working door, not a red carpet.

The Lowdown
Miss Greer's second-grade class is stranded on an island, and the grown-ups are not the ones getting everybody home. Rosie Revere, Ada Twist, and Iggy Peck: The Questioneers! puts Andrea Beaty's bestselling kid engineer, scientist and architect on stage in a brand-new musical from TheaterWorksUSA.
The creative team is no joke: a book by Lauren Gunderson, one of the most produced living playwrights in the country, with music by Bree Lowdermilk and lyrics by Kait Kerrigan. The motto is "Let's test! Let's build! Let's go!" and your kids will be saying it at breakfast for a week.
It opens the New Victory Theater's 2026-27 season on 42nd Street, October 17 to 25, 2026. It runs 60 minutes with no intermission, it's recommended for ages 4 and up, and tickets start at $25 including fees. Andrea Beaty signs books in the lower lobby after the 11am show on October 17, so bring your dog-eared copy.
