About the show

The Lowdown

Weiler comes out of Atlantic’s playwriting program and writes characters who say less than they mean, which is what this material needs. Jack Serio directs, fresh off his Off-Broadway Uncle Vanya revival at the Lucille Lortel that played like eavesdropping on a private conversation. Roughly 90 minutes, no intermission. Atlantic has a track record at the Linda Gross of starting plays here that move uptown a year later — The Band’s Visit, Spring Awakening, The Humans all originated here.

Previews July 8, closes August 8 — a one-month window. No formal lottery, but Atlantic offers $35 rush tickets day-of in person and digital rush via TodayTix. Track availability on our Broadway lottery hub.
