Full guide →When to go. Head straight out at curtain call. Two-show days are the worst bet at both performances — the cast rests through the matinee and is spent by the evening. A Sunday matinee is the best single bet, because it is a one-show day. In bad weather the barricades sometimes never go up at all.
Who comes out. Anywhere from nobody to most of the cast. Nobody can tell you in advance which three — not us, not the theatre. Treat any list that claims otherwise with suspicion.
What to bring. Tonight’s Playbill and a fine-tip Sharpie, held open to the page you want signed. Ask before you photograph anyone, and keep the pavement clear — it is a working door, not a red carpet.

Justin is a museum intern, which would be fine if he weren't quite a bit older than every other intern in the building. Today he's leading visitors to a newly discovered Van Gogh, and he's doing it while his own artwork is being judged in a competition downstairs. No pressure.
The Exhibitionist is a solo play by James Hindman, directed by Andrew Russell, starring Jeff Hiller (Somebody Somewhere). Hiller is one of the funniest people working in New York, and a one-man show about art, ambition and how far we go to prove we matter is right in his wheelhouse. Expect big laughs and a few quiet moments that sneak up on you.
It plays SoHo Playhouse on Vandam Street for just nine performances, November 9 through November 21, 2026. That is a very short window for a performer this beloved in a room this small, so if you want in, don't wait.
