Full guide →When to go. Head straight out at curtain call. Two-show days are the worst bet at both performances — the cast rests through the matinee and is spent by the evening. A Sunday matinee is the best single bet, because it is a one-show day. In bad weather the barricades sometimes never go up at all.
Who comes out. Anywhere from nobody to most of the cast. Nobody can tell you in advance which three — not us, not the theatre. Treat any list that claims otherwise with suspicion.
What to bring. Tonight’s Playbill and a fine-tip Sharpie, held open to the page you want signed. Ask before you photograph anyone, and keep the pavement clear — it is a working door, not a red carpet.

Two men. One 1993 C-SPAN broadcast. Zero chill. Kramer/Fauci drops you into the legendary televised showdown between Dr. Anthony Fauci, the country's top AIDS researcher, and Larry Kramer, the playwright-activist who spent the AIDS crisis shouting the truth at anyone who would listen (and plenty who would not).
Director Daniel Fish — the guy who turned Oklahoma! into a fever dream — rebuilds that clash live on the St. Ann's Warehouse stage in DUMBO. Will Brill plays Fauci, the measured scientist trying to move a mountain of bureaucracy. Thomas Jay Ryan plays Kramer, the man who had no patience left for measured anything. What starts as a policy debate turns into a raw, funny, gut-punch of a conversation about anger, hope, and who gets to decide how fast a dying community is allowed to be saved.
It's history you can feel in your chest: Brooklyn's coolest waterfront theater, a real story with real stakes, and two actors going toe to toe. Grab a seat before word gets out. Kramer/Fauci runs September 27 through October 24, 2026 at St. Ann's Warehouse.
