Full guide →When to go. Head straight out at curtain call. Two-show days are the worst bet at both performances — the cast rests through the matinee and is spent by the evening. A Sunday matinee is the best single bet, because it is a one-show day. In bad weather the barricades sometimes never go up at all.
Who comes out. Anywhere from nobody to most of the cast. Nobody can tell you in advance which three — not us, not the theatre. Treat any list that claims otherwise with suspicion.
What to bring. Tonight’s Playbill and a fine-tip Sharpie, held open to the page you want signed. Ask before you photograph anyone, and keep the pavement clear — it is a working door, not a red carpet.
Why “still confirming”. The theatre details above are solid. What we haven’t nailed down is whether this particular production does a stage door — that changes with the cast, and no source publishes it. We’d rather say so than guess.

Raindrops keep fallin' on your head? There's a show for that. Going Bacharach brings the songbook of the late, great Burt Bacharach back to the West Side Y this fall — a cozy, grown-up night out a block off Central Park West.
Tony-winning lyricist David Zippel (City of Angels, Disney's Hercules) directs what's essentially a two-hour scripted concert: part cabaret, part revue, all hits. Vocalists Hilary Kole and John Pagano front a five-piece band led by Australian pianist-clarinetist Adrian Galante, who wrote the arrangements. Expect “Walk On By,” “I Say a Little Prayer,” “What the World Needs Now,” and a couple dozen more of the tunes that quietly scored the 1960s.
It's a limited 12-week engagement in one of the city's best-kept little theaters, so if Bacharach is your love language, grab seats before the close-out notice. Previews begin September 9, with opening night September 16.
