Full guide →When to go. Head straight out at curtain call. Two-show days are the worst bet at both performances — the cast rests through the matinee and is spent by the evening. A Sunday matinee is the best single bet, because it is a one-show day. In bad weather the barricades sometimes never go up at all.
Who comes out. Anywhere from nobody to most of the cast. Nobody can tell you in advance which three — not us, not the theatre. Treat any list that claims otherwise with suspicion.
What to bring. Tonight’s Playbill and a fine-tip Sharpie, held open to the page you want signed. Ask before you photograph anyone, and keep the pavement clear — it is a working door, not a red carpet.

Seventeen-year-old Karya is stuck in the fog of her brother's unexplained disappearance, and when her mother floats a wild theory about where he's gone, Karya does the very teenage thing of putting it to the test — with a twisted little online experiment and her best friend riding shotgun. Melis Aker's Fish is a world premiere that tips a coming-of-age story sideways into something stranger and stickier.
WP Theater kicks off its season with the play, directed by Tatiana Pandiani and co-produced with Signature Theatre Company (in association with New Light Theater Project, with Noor Theatre consulting). It runs at WP Theater on the Upper West Side from September 26 through October 25, 2026, with opening night October 11. A new voice, a proper premiere, and a mystery that refuses to behave — worth keeping an eye on.
