Full guide →When to go. Head straight out at curtain call. Two-show days are the worst bet at both performances — the cast rests through the matinee and is spent by the evening. A Sunday matinee is the best single bet, because it is a one-show day. In bad weather the barricades sometimes never go up at all.
Who comes out. Anywhere from nobody to most of the cast. Nobody can tell you in advance which three — not us, not the theatre. Treat any list that claims otherwise with suspicion.
What to bring. Tonight’s Playbill and a fine-tip Sharpie, held open to the page you want signed. Ask before you photograph anyone, and keep the pavement clear — it is a working door, not a red carpet.

The Lowdown
The Forsythes are a homesteading family. They settle an abandoned town with their friends and kin, and for a while the place thrives. Then, generations later, the blood in the soil starts seeping up into the gardens and the homes.
Feast of Rabbits comes from Aleshea Harris, the writer of Is God Is, and she directs it herself. Playwrights Horizons calls it a violent, darkly comic satire of the American frontier myth. If you saw Is God Is, you know Harris doesn't do small or polite, and that is a compliment.
This is the big summer closer of the Playwrights Horizons season, running May 27 through July 11, 2027 at the theater on West 42nd Street. That's a longer run than most of their shows, so you get a little breathing room on tickets.
No cast has been announced yet. We'll add names and any rush or lottery deals here as soon as they're out.
