Full guide →Getting there. The courtyard entrance is on W 52nd St., but the stage door is on the far side of the building, on W 53rd St. Come out of the courtyard, back to 10th Ave., turn left one block to 53rd and left again — the door is opposite a Citi Bike station, by the garage at 504 W 53rd that backs onto the theatre.
When to go. Head straight out at curtain call. Two-show days are the worst bet at both performances — the cast rests through the matinee and is spent by the evening. A Sunday matinee is the best single bet, because it is a one-show day. In bad weather the barricades sometimes never go up at all.
Who comes out. Anywhere from nobody to most of the cast. Nobody can tell you in advance which three — not us, not the theatre. Treat any list that claims otherwise with suspicion.
What to bring. Tonight’s Playbill and a fine-tip Sharpie, held open to the page you want signed. Ask before you photograph anyone, and keep the pavement clear — it is a working door, not a red carpet.
Why “not confirmed”. The door above is a fact about the theatre and holds for years. Whether THIS production does a stage door is a fact about the company — it changes with the cast, and no source publishes it. We’d rather say so than guess.

What follows is a comedy about neighbors, screens, and the moment the line between what's real and what's a feed quietly stops existing.
Directed by Anne Kauffman at MCC's Newman Mills Theater, ANON – a tempest at our kitchen table runs a strictly limited engagement this fall. It's small, it's sharp, and it's the kind of new play people argue about on the sidewalk afterward. Previews begin September 25; opening night is October 13. If you like your theater weird, funny, and a little too close to home, this one's for you.
