Stage Door
Full guide →When to go. Head straight out at curtain call. Two-show days are the worst bet at both performances — the cast rests through the matinee and is spent by the evening. A Sunday matinee is the best single bet, because it is a one-show day. In bad weather the barricades sometimes never go up at all.
Who comes out. Anywhere from nobody to most of the cast. Nobody can tell you in advance which three — not us, not the theatre. Treat any list that claims otherwise with suspicion.
What to bring. Tonight’s Playbill and a fine-tip Sharpie, held open to the page you want signed. Ask before you photograph anyone, and keep the pavement clear — it is a working door, not a red carpet.

The Lowdown
December 13, 1795. A big stone drops out of the sky and lands on Emory Miller's farm. Then come the reports of fire and strange lights, and before long the whole town has split down the middle while a rich few work the fear for all it's worth. Sound a little familiar?
Wold Meteor is Kate Attwell's "darkly funny musical allegory for modern times," with songs by Sunder Ganglani. Dustin Wills directs. Playwrights Horizons is co-producing with Page 73, with Working Theater as a partner, so this new musical has some serious downtown cred behind it.
The question underneath the jokes: what sacrifice does it take to actually change anything? It's a big swing for a show built around a rock from space, and we're here for it.
It runs March 3 through March 28, 2027 at Playwrights Horizons on West 42nd Street. That's under four weeks, so plan ahead. Cast and ticket deals aren't out yet. We'll post them here when they are.
