The Lowdown
The premise is simple: Celine Dion hijacks the narrative of the 1997 blockbuster to insist she was the true protagonist of the sinking ship. The show treats the Titanic disaster as a glorified backdrop for a high-octane jukebox musical, stapling power ballads to every tragic moment. It is campy, loud, and entirely comfortable with its own stupidity. While some theater snobs might roll their eyes at the blatant irreverence, the vocal performances manage to hold their own against the sheer nonsense. Go if you want to laugh at something that doesn’t take itself seriously for a second. Leave the purists at home.

Our verdict
I just got out of the show, fourth row on the left, and I am not gonna lie, it was incredible, singing totally entertaining and definitely worth seeing. The singers were phenomenal, the acting was very good, and the only thing that's not a five is that I'm not really into plays that make fun of people or make fun of acting, because it sort of did a little bit of that here. The singing was exceptional and it was a very entertaining show, so definitely must see. Give it a four out of five, just because when I watch Broadway I just look at stunning acting and singing, and this just had a little bit too much making fun of people. That's not one of the reasons why I go to a show, but definitely definitely recommend seeing it. It was a great show and I would go with my family again.

A long-running Off-Broadway smash that sailed to Broadway on sheer camp and belt — the kind of show where the crowd loses it and a couple of critics shrug. If you want a karaoke fever dream with real vocal firepower, climb aboard. Lowbrow and proud of it.
