About the show

The Lowdown

Based on Frank Wedekind’s once-banned play, the show follows a group of German teenagers discovering desire, heartbreak, and just how badly the adults around them are failing to explain anything. Expect the anthems you’ve been belting since high school and a few good cries along the way. It plays the 296-seat Studio Seaview, with previews starting November 27, 2026 and the run continuing through February 15, 2027.
