Full guide →When to go. Head straight out at curtain call. Two-show days are the worst bet at both performances — the cast rests through the matinee and is spent by the evening. A Sunday matinee is the best single bet, because it is a one-show day. In bad weather the barricades sometimes never go up at all.
Who comes out. Anywhere from nobody to most of the cast. Nobody can tell you in advance which three — not us, not the theatre. Treat any list that claims otherwise with suspicion.
What to bring. Tonight’s Playbill and a fine-tip Sharpie, held open to the page you want signed. Ask before you photograph anyone, and keep the pavement clear — it is a working door, not a red carpet.

The Lowdown
Everybody has a song they sing a little too hard after a long week. Every Wednesday Night is a new pop/rock musical about the regulars at Escondido's, a karaoke bar where Jon and his friends meet each week to get away from real life for a few hours. The motto says it all: no matter who you are, you're a star at a karaoke bar.
Jon D'Agostino and Michael August wrote the music and lyrics, D'Agostino wrote the book with additional material by Max Mondi, and Chad Austin directs. Abingdon Theatre Company is producing it as its mainstage show, and it is the musical's Off-Broadway premiere. Expect a story about life, love, loss and the way a good song can patch you up.
It plays The Sam at The Flea Theater, 20 Thomas Street in Tribeca, for a strictly limited run from March 23 to April 25, 2027. The show runs about 2 hours 15 minutes with one intermission. Casting has not been announced yet.
Warm up your vocal cords, pick your power ballad and save the date. Mic drop optional.
