About the show

The Lowdown

The premise is simple: Henry VIII’s six wives decide they are finished being historical footnotes. They trade their corsets for sequins and turn the English Reformation into a televised singing competition. It is essentially a Tudor-era girl group rivalry, fueled by enough autotune to make a sound engineer weep. The Ladies in Waiting provide a tight musical backing that actually justifies the ticket price, even when the script leans a bit too hard into the pop-star clichés. It is loud, it is fast, and it avoids the usual stuffy period-piece boredom. Go if you want to hear a catchy hook; stay home if you have an aversion to neon lights.

Our verdict

Front Row Center Seats from winning Lottery is the best way to see the show and that is what we won today. The show was great and it was the second time my wife saw it and the 1st of my 10 year old. When asked how the show was her response was "My New Favorite". I can't want to take her again. I have one four front row seats for this show and will go back again soon.
