Full guide →When to go. Head straight out at curtain call. Two-show days are the worst bet at both performances — the cast rests through the matinee and is spent by the evening. A Sunday matinee is the best single bet, because it is a one-show day. In bad weather the barricades sometimes never go up at all.
Who comes out. Anywhere from nobody to most of the cast. Nobody can tell you in advance which three — not us, not the theatre. Treat any list that claims otherwise with suspicion.
What to bring. Tonight’s Playbill and a fine-tip Sharpie, held open to the page you want signed. Ask before you photograph anyone, and keep the pavement clear — it is a working door, not a red carpet.

Frank Bennett runs a Gulf Coast bed and breakfast, and he would very much like to get through one hurricane without a family reunion. The weather has other plans. When the shelter-in-place order lands, Frank is boarded up inside his own inn with his father, his ex-wife, their son and a TV psychologist whose own life is coming apart right on schedule — five people, one house, no exits, and a storm that somehow turns out to be the most reasonable thing in the building.
Henry Feldman wrote it, Joan Kane directs, and Ego Actus produces at Theater Five inside Theatre Row on West 42nd Street. Mike Roche plays Frank, with Martin Revere, Alyssa Simon, Aaron Lamm and Haley Zale filling out the household.
The run is short and it is not coming back: September 18 through October 4, 2026, and that is the whole window. Theatre Row's houses seat under 200, so nobody is sitting far from the arguing. Bring the friend who enjoys watching a family hold it together badly.
