Full guide →When to go. Head straight out at curtain call. Two-show days are the worst bet at both performances — the cast rests through the matinee and is spent by the evening. A Sunday matinee is the best single bet, because it is a one-show day. In bad weather the barricades sometimes never go up at all.
Who comes out. Anywhere from nobody to most of the cast. Nobody can tell you in advance which three — not us, not the theatre. Treat any list that claims otherwise with suspicion.
What to bring. Tonight’s Playbill and a fine-tip Sharpie, held open to the page you want signed. Ask before you photograph anyone, and keep the pavement clear — it is a working door, not a red carpet.

The Lowdown
One ordinary Sunday morning, your neighbors start turning into rhinoceroses. Would you join the herd or dig in your heels? That is the wonderfully bonkers question at the center of Rhinoceros, Eugene Ionesco's classic, and it is charging back to Broadway for the first time since 1961.
Roundabout Theatre Company brings the show to the Todd Haimes Theatre on 42nd Street from April 7 to June 13, 2027, with opening night on April 25. It takes the spring slot originally planned for The Full Monty, which has been postponed.
And the cast? Come on. John Turturro plays Berenger and Tatiana Maslany plays Daisy, both coming over from the American Repertory Theater run in Cambridge earlier this year, and Tony Shalhoub joins them as Jean. Tony winner Diane Paulus directs the A.R.T. adaptation, using Derek Prouse's translation, and the whole thing mixes big laughs with a little bit of horror.
It is a short spring engagement, so do not wait around for the herd to scoop up all the good seats. Grab your tickets, bring a friend who has strong opinions about peer pressure, and get ready for a very funny, slightly terrifying night at the theater. Horns optional.
