The Lowdown
What follows is the hilarious, heartwarming chaos of a half-Jewish, half-Irish-Catholic family trying to celebrate a holiday none of them have ever heard of. Grief, guilt, sibling rivalry, and a wobbly hut in the yard collide into a warm, funny, deeply human night of theater. This new play runs at 59E59 Theaters’ Theater B for a strictly limited summer engagement, July 11 through August 9, 2026.

Won a seat to Sukkot for the price of a deli lunch? Struck out a dozen times trying? Either way, the next New Yorker hitting refresh on the lottery wants to hear about it. Be the first on the board.
