About the show

The Lowdown

Golden Globe nominee John David Washington leads a stacked ensemble that includes Tony nominees Conrad Ricamora and Elizabeth Stanley, plus Jason Ralph, Joe Tippett, Jasmine Sharma, and Shaunette Renée Wilson. The setup: tech entrepreneur Nick has already won — big Silicon Valley exit, the works. Now he hands his three closest friends an algorithm that claims to guide their biggest life decisions better than they ever could. What could possibly go wrong? Everything, obviously.

Directed by Hersh Ellis and making its New York premiere after a London run, Disruption previews from July 22 with opening night August 2 and plays through September 13, 2026, in the intimate Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre. If you like your thrillers smart, starry, and a little terrifying about the future, this one’s calling your number.
