About the show

The Lowdown

The Whoopi Monologues reimagines Goldberg’s electric gallery of characters for five performers, led by Kerry Washington and Tony winner Kara Young, under the direction of Whitney White. Funny, vivid, and disarmingly human, these portraits feel every bit as fresh today as they did forty years ago. It plays the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater with first previews July 6, 2026 and an opening July 14. A New York original, back where it belongs.

Looking for a Whoopi Monologues lottery? There isn’t one. Lincoln Center Theater doesn’t run a digital draw for this show, so there’s no entry form to go hunting for. The cheap seat here is LincTix: $35–$40 tickets if you’re between 18 and 35, free to join at lct.org — with the catch that your seatmates have to be members too, so it’s not the move for a mixed-age group. If you want an actual lottery, our Broadway lottery hub lists every open draw.
