Full guide →When to go. Head straight out at curtain call. Two-show days are the worst bet at both performances — the cast rests through the matinee and is spent by the evening. A Sunday matinee is the best single bet, because it is a one-show day. In bad weather the barricades sometimes never go up at all.
Who comes out. Anywhere from nobody to most of the cast. Nobody can tell you in advance which three — not us, not the theatre. Treat any list that claims otherwise with suspicion.
What to bring. Tonight’s Playbill and a fine-tip Sharpie, held open to the page you want signed. Ask before you photograph anyone, and keep the pavement clear — it is a working door, not a red carpet.

Full Gallop brings LuPone back to a New York stage as Diana Vreeland, the Vogue editor who spent decades telling America what it wanted before America knew. Mark Hampton and Mary Louise Wilson's solo play picks her up in 1971, freshly fired, broke, and hosting a dinner party anyway — because the alternative is admitting the ride is over, and Vreeland was never going to do that.
It is a part built for someone who can hold a room on nerve alone, which narrows the field considerably. Gordon Greenberg directs. The engagement runs twelve weeks at New York City Center's Stage II, a 150-seat room, so “intimate” here is not marketing — you will be close enough to catch every eyebrow.
Previews begin January 8, 2027, with opening night January 17. Tickets for a LuPone solo turn in a 150-seat house will not linger, so set a reminder rather than a plan.
