Full guide →When to go. Head straight out at curtain call. Two-show days are the worst bet at both performances — the cast rests through the matinee and is spent by the evening. A Sunday matinee is the best single bet, because it is a one-show day. In bad weather the barricades sometimes never go up at all.
Who comes out. Anywhere from nobody to most of the cast. Nobody can tell you in advance which three — not us, not the theatre. Treat any list that claims otherwise with suspicion.
What to bring. Tonight’s Playbill and a fine-tip Sharpie, held open to the page you want signed. Ask before you photograph anyone, and keep the pavement clear — it is a working door, not a red carpet.

The Lowdown
Zombies, radio DJs and a really big boat on the horizon? Sign me up. Feast for the Dead is the world premiere of Madeline Easley's new play, and Soho Rep is bringing it to Playwrights Horizons on West 42nd Street from May 26 to June 20, 2027.
Here is the setup. Fourteen years after a zombie apocalypse sweeps across Turtle Island, the settler government has collapsed and the survivors are living in Indigenous communities. Randy and Lester keep spirits up hosting an indie music show on RezDog Radio, and Kay is a warrior in the Confederacy of Tribes. Then the zombies suddenly fall apart, and everyone finally gets the chance to bury their dead with dignity. Happy ending, right? Not so fast, because a ship shows up on the horizon.
Tara Moses directs, and both she and Easley are making their Off-Broadway debuts. Expect a fast, funny ride with a Native indie soundtrack and storytelling built from light, projections and sound rooted in oral tradition. It is also part of Soho Rep's Hunger Cycle, so you know these folks plan ahead.
Put this one on the calendar now. A comedy about staying human after the end of the world sounds like exactly the kind of night out we all need, snacks optional, zombies not included.
