Because in Uganda, being openly gay is not just frowned upon — it is illegal. A goofy vacation comedy curdles into a high-stakes fight for freedom, forcing the couple to face a hostile regime and their own fears, flaws and fierce devotion to each other.
Blending sharp satire, theatrical spectacle and a surprising amount of heart, Silverback Mountain is a wild ride through the upside-down logic of a world where laughter and horror share a seat. It is a short run — May 30 through June 21, 2026 — and it is recommended for ages 16 and up. Funny, fierce and not afraid to go there.
