About the show

The Lowdown

The premise is simple enough: a couple tries to leave their history behind, only to realize the haunting is an inside job. It is penned by Levi Holloway and helmed by Felix Barrett, the man responsible for the sensory overload that is Sleep No More. Barrett knows how to make a space feel wrong, which is exactly what this material requires to avoid becoming a cheap parlor trick. With Jason Blum backing the production and a team of designers who have successfully manufactured dread for Harry Potter and Stranger Things, the technical execution should be solid. Broadway rarely handles horror well, but this team has the credentials to make us actually look over our shoulders on the subway ride home.
