About the show

The Lowdown

The score is stacked with hits by Billboard chart-topper J.T. Harding — the songwriter behind tracks recorded by Keith Urban, Blake Shelton, Darius Rucker and Florida Georgia Line — including “Smile,” “Sangria” and “Somewhere In My Car.” Originally staged by the acclaimed company Bedlam, the show transfers to St. Luke’s Theatre with Bedlam’s Eric Tucker directing and a book by Peter Zinn.

Earning a Drama Desk nomination on its first go-round, Music City is that rare jukebox musical built around the warm, big-hearted world of country. Performances run June 15 through October 31, 2026 — loud, alive and full of stories.
